We identify, verify and procure mining rights in South Africa and create direct-investment vehicles in Mauritius where profits from mining operations flow back into your offshore account.

Often land owners with resource deposits do not have the funds to acquire prospecting and mining rights. We work with local geologists to find viable mining applications which have stalled.
Once we independently verify the existence of resources with our own geologists onsite, we buy the land-use rights cheaply and expedite the application process to acquire mining rights.
When we have a mine ready for development, we open an account in Mauritius where investors can buy a stake in the returns of that mine.
We have a black, female-owned subsidiary in South Africa that handles all in-country administration, logistics and assignment of rights. Depending upon the needs of the mine, the subsidiary can also build infrastructure and run mining operations.
In addition to the direct investment into each mine, we have a novel rolling fund concept that allows investors to subscribe to deals. The fund resources are used to:
The continuous availability of funds allows the Assegai Team to source deals in gold, chrome, platinum, anthracite and more.
The minimum commitment is one-year paid via quarterly capital calls. Investors can invest more than the minimum for larger discounted equity and can continue past the one-year commitment to participate in future deals.
When the vehicle for each mine is created, all Assegai Fund money used towards that deal goes into the capitalization table at a 20% discount similar to a convertible note.
Assegai Fund investors get rights of first refusal on all deals and you can optionally invest additional funds into each deal for more equity.
